Dear donor, volunteer, visitor and friend,
I am writing this message on behalf of Raise and Support the Poor organization (RSP) in Cambodia, with the purpose of providing free education to children in Cambodia. I began the organization with nine other of my colleagues. RSP aims to bring better education for children who reside in the countryside and outskirt of the city and they have no access education. Generally, our children come from poor families and orphanages and have little access to other sources of education. We strive to educate our children to the best of our abilities and are always looking for ways in which we can improve the education our children receive. Since then, RSP has not only succeed in providing basic education to hundred of students, but has also introduced livelihood training programs, has upheld children’s rights, has constructed school, library, toilet, hospital, water supply in daily use and for local agriculture project, sport field and so on.
Raise and Support the Poor (“RSP”) is a charity committed to helping children of the poorest families in Cambodia. Cambodia is ranked as one of the 20 least developed countries in our world. As such, those who live at the fringes of Cambodian society live a life of desperate poverty with few opportunities to escape from this poverty or improve their lives. These people typically have little food, no education and few skills, leaving them unable to improve their lives or the lives of their children.
Many Children Need Your Help and Support!
In my opinion, I want these children to have a good opportunity to get education as other children do; that they have the right to live in dignity and uphold their health and they feel comfort from society, and play their important roles to develop community and join the world peace.
As you can imagine I cannot do everything alone, so I would like you and your organization, colleagues, family and friends help and support my work. We are together, with the purpose of building better education for our children in the world.
RSP supports the promotion of non-violence, lectures against the use of violence within the family unit or the community and promotes a loving and safe environment. RSP does not prejudice or discriminate based on religion or complexion. We are not a puppet of a party or any person; RSP is a puppet of the poor people and an independent power.
